Super watch

I ordered the watch pre-release and as soon as the release date arrived, it was shipped from Japan. Looking at the parcel tracking, it arrived in London three days later on the 3rd July. Unfortunately our customs don't look as if they work on a weekend so it wasn't until the 7th that it cleared customs and a letter was sent to me advising me of the customs VAT. This worked out at approximately 20% of the value of the watch. I paid the VAT on-line and the watch arrived the next day. I had ordered the model that is meant for the Japanese home market so it did not come with English instructions. This was easily rectified by searching the Casio website and finding a manual in English for the module 5371 that the watch uses. I would imagine this would be applicable for other languages. Operating the watch has been a bit of a learning curve but not too difficult. It sits nicely on the wrist and looks good. This is the first G-Shock I've owned, my other watches are high-end brands like Rolex, IWC, Omega etc. I sure it won't be the last G-Shock. My Shopping in Japan experience has been first class.

In short, the GULFMASTER fits well, is easy to calibrate, easy to read, and most importantly, is a Casio G Shock product. I know that I can wear this watch with confidence whether on the beach, on the trail, or in the office.
