Warranty is not honored in the US
I received the watch and discovered it was running around+14 seconds fast in a 24 hour period, which is awful for a solar watch and definitely meant the movement was defective. I reached out to customer service and was informed that I could send the watch back to Japan or send it to Seiko USA for repairs. I send the watch to Seiko USA, since I live in the US, and was told by Seiko USA that since I had purchased the watch from a Third Party they would not honor the warranty. I was not informed if sending it Japan would have made a difference or not, which might have been helpful. So I am stuck with the $250 repair on a brand new watch, plus shipping, and a "we are so sorry to you experienced that". Beautiful watch, sketchy warranty.
