The Seiko 5 Heritage Design “Gene Kranz” SRPL91 (or JDM edition as SBSA311) is a faithful modern reinterpretation of the iconic 1969 Seiko 6119-8460 — a vintage Sports Diver that captured the spirit of the space age. Inspired by NASA’s legendary Flight Director Gene Kranz, this tribute piece features a clean white dial, echoing the white flight jacket he famously wore during the Apollo missions.

Staying true to its 1960s roots, the compact 38.5mm stainless steel case adopts the original cushion silhouette, paired with a bi-directional bezel and a vintage-style bracelet. The Japan Domestic Market variant SBSA311 includes a Kanji/English day display and a transparent case back, making it even more collectible.
